Heather Bowden-Terry

Heather is owner and instructor of Flipside. Heather has over 40 years of experience in dance, tumbling, and
cheerleading. Heather was a 1995-2000 St. Louis Rams Cheerleader and a 3 year Line Captain for the Rams. She was selected by the Rams organization in 1998 to represent the St. Louis Rams at the Pro Bowl in Hawaii. Heather was also apart of many other professional dance and cheerleading teams within the St. Louis area, these include: St. Louis Storm, St. Louis Ambush, St. Louis Vipers, and St. Louis Stampede. She performed with Salt and Peppa as a back up dancer and took classes from top choreographer, Wade Robertson and Rey Lozano. Heather was a Sundancer at Southeast Missouri State University. Heather was selected to performed in London after she was made UCA All-Star and was also a UCA Staff Member. From 2017-2019, Heather was an assistant Varsity Cheer Coach for Hillsboro High School in Missouri. Heather has a Bachelors degree in Interior Design and a Minor in Architecture from Southeast Missouri State University. |
Miss Allison
Recreational Program Director Dance Instructor/ Choreographer Gymnastics Coach Allison is originally from Arkansas. Allision has been dancing for 12 years in both studios and in school. She joined the Hillsboro Hawkettes after moving to Missouri her Sophomore year from Arkansas! During her Junior year she was the team Secretary, and during her Senior year she was the Captain. She led our team to 2 state titles. Allison has received the 110% award for 3 years on a row. This past year she was an NDA instructor, traveling the US to teach dance to high schoolers. Allison is also the Jefferson College’s Spirit Athletics Advisor. 
Coach Ciara
Cheer/Tumbling/ Choreographer Ciara has over 10 years of cheerleading experience, 4 years of competitive cheerleading experience, and 5 years of coaching experience. She graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2013, where she cheered all throughout high school. Ciara was one of three athletes on her team to be nominated for and attend Cheer Hawaii. From there, Ciara went to Mineral Area College, where she cheered and then transferred to Missouri Baptist University. At Missouri Baptist University, Ciara's competitive cheer team placed 1st at Regionals and 9th at Nationals. While completing her degree, Ciara coached at West County Middle School. Then, she graduated from Missouri Baptist University with her bachelor's in Organizational Leadership. After graduation, she accepted an assistant coaching position at MBU for Coed Cheer and STUNT the Sport, while pursuing her masters degree. While coaching at MBU and pursuing her degree, Ciara started a position at Flipside as a competitive cheer coach at the beginning of 2021. Now, Ciara coaches four Elite teams, Rec. Cheer, Tumbling, Acro, and is the Program Director at Flipside Empire. Ciara will graduate in the Spring of 2022 from Missouri Baptist University with a Masters in Higher Education Leadership. |
Miss Cassondra
Dance & Acro Instructor/ Choreographer Cassondra has over 20 years of dance experience, She began dance training at a local competitive studio in Desloge, mo., was a part of the Festus dance team serving as a Captain and had opportunities to choreograph, All-American team in 2009 where she performed in New York for Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, Captain of collegiate dance team and opportunities to choreograph MAC. In 2012 she began teaching at Dietrich Dance Studio for 10 years in acro, contemporary, pointe, tumbling and other various studios throughout the years. She also had dance opportunities as a backup dancer for a local artist in stl and Attitudes. In 2015 I started training in aerial skills and focused more on the lyra and continue training with her portable lyra & rig in her home. In 2017 I accepted the head dance coach position for the Hillsboro Hawkettes for 3 years while teaching at two other dance studios. After Dietrich Dance Studio retired and closed its doors, we welcome Cassondra to our Flipside Empire! 
Coach Bayleigh
Tumbling/Cheer Coach Bayleigh has been cheering and tumbling for All-Star Cheer for 15 years and School Cheer 6 years. Bayleigh made UCA All American Cheerleader her Junior year to perform in Hawaii. She was "Athlete of the Month" at Hillsboro High School during her Senior year. Bayleigh has her BS Degree in Elementary Eduaction and is currently teaching in the Desoto School District. 
Mrs. Britne
Dance & Pom Instructor / Choreographer Tumbling/ Gymnastics / Ninja Britne has been with the Flipside Empire teaching Tiny Pom and Tumble, assisting with Ninja Tumbling, and Gymnastics for 3 years. Britne has 5 children (4 girls and 1 boy.) When Britne was younger she participated in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and hip-Hop until she was 18. She also joined UPWARD Cheerleading for 4 seasons with First Baptist Church of Arnold. We are excited and absolutely love having Britne be a part of the Flipside Empire for yet another incredible season.

Coach Dom
Tumbling/Cheer Coach Dom has been a cheerleader for 5 years! He has experienced in High School, College, and Competitive Cheer! He was an athlete on Flipside's Senior 4 Competitive Cheer Team and has been with Flipside for 2 years! Currently, he is working on finishing his bachelors in Marketing and Film! 
Coach Terry
Ninja/Tricking/ Gymnastics/ Tumbling Coach Terry has extensive training and a strong passion in Ninja and Tumbling Training. He also was an athlete on Flipside Competitive Cheer teams. Terry has 12 year of coaching experience.
